A man rammed his car on Thursday against soldiers who jogged near a barracks in the French Alps without causing injuries, less than a week after the attacks, sources close to the case reported.
Around 8:45 (0645 GMT), the man, whose cell phone is unknown, tried to “run over the military of the 93 Varces mountain artillery regiment, clearly identifiable as military, before insulting others and fleeing” , explained one of these sources.
A search device has been put in place to find the fugitive, who could drive a stolen car on Wednesday, according to local press.
Colonel Benoît Brulon, spokesman for the Army, confirmed to AFP that a man “tried to assault” the military “who went out jogging.”
“He verbally threatened six or seven soldiers who jogged, insulted a second group of soldiers who went jogging and lost sight of him, and on his return they were attacked, and the military managed to get onto the sidewalk without being hit,” he said. , confirming that “there are no injuries”.

This attack takes place on the last day of tributes to the four people killed on Friday by the jihadist Radouane Lakdim in attacks in southern France.
