Favoritism at INA: Mathieu Gallet sentenced to one year suspended sentence

The CEO of Radio France Mathieu Gallet was condemned Monday by the Criminal Court of Créteil to one year in prison suspended for “favoritism” during his mandate at the head of the National Audiovisual Institute (INA).
Mr. Gallet, who chaired the INA between 2010 and 2014, was also fined 20,000 euros. The court was more lenient than the prosecution, which demanded 18 months suspended sentence and a fine of 40,000 euros.
