Venezuela signs an agreement with Russia to restructure its debt

Venezuela, declared in partial default by several rating agencies, signed an agreement in Moscow on Wednesday to restructure a $ 3 billion loan that Russia granted in 2011, a diplomatic source told AFP.

The source did not specify the details of the agreement, which will be disclosed at an imminent press conference by the Venezuelan Minister of Economy and Finance, Simon Zerpa, in the Russian capital.
